Deed of Assignment of Rights and Interest

Proprietary rights are generally assignable, whether they are over tangible property like real estate, or intangible property like a business interest or a tradename or brand, or to a credit. An assignment of rights is an act of an assignor conveying his right to an assignee who could be an individual or a corporation. There are tax consequences in an assignment of right over real property which the Bureau of Internal Revenue may treat as a sale. Hereditary rights and interest can also be the subject of an assignment provided that such hereditary rights has been transmitted to an heir.
